Dr Paul Ferris
Pain Specialist

Dr Paul Ferris is a Pain Medicine Specialist who has undertaken advanced training in pain medicine with a special focus on interventional treatments (Master of Medicine in Pain Management at Sydney University). His special interests include neuropathic pain, interventional pain therapies and orofacial pain. Paul was previously a consultant anaesthetist working in Western Sydney and then the Nowra/Shoalhaven area.

Felicity Slevin
B.Psych

Felicity is a psychologist who has 7 years clinical experience and spent 5 years as a rehabilitation consultant, particularly focusing on redeploying injured workers into new employment opportunities.

Felicity specialises in the treatment of people with persistent pain and teaching them the psychological skills required to manage and progress.

Felicity is an accomplished horse rider and is kept busy looking after 2 energetic boxer dogs and an 18 month old son.

Rowena Field

Rowena is a physiotherapist with 25 years experience in both private practice and 8 years as a rehabilitation consultant for injured workers. She has worked extensively in occupational rehabilitation, assisting injured workers to return to their jobs.

Rowena has developed a professional interest in chronic pain management over the last few years and is keen to assist clients that historically have had limited options and may have been poorly managed. She is currently undertaking a PhD with University of Sydney researching chronic pain.

Rowena is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Australian Pain Society

Rowena is available to do Neurophysical chronic pain assessments for insurers or legal requirements.

Rowena is also a photographer with the images on the STEPP brochures and website being her work. She enjoys living on Jervis Bay and regularly rides, runs and paddleboards with her husband, as well as running around after 3 nearly grown up daughters.
